Everything you need to know about pricing, deployment, security, and how Rendex works.
Pricing
The full Rendex software platform plus the dedicated confidential compute enclave provisioned on Azure: legal-aware document ingest, hybrid RAG retrieval, citation enforcement, clause analysis, matter summaries, guided workflows, due diligence review tools, and all software updates during your license term. Private Cloud Standard is $299/attorney/month (shared H100 enclave, gpt-oss-20B). Private Cloud Dedicated is $599/attorney/month (single-tenant H100, gpt-oss-120B).
None. Rendex runs inside a dedicated Azure confidential VM sealed by AMD SEV-SNP memory encryption and an NVIDIA H100 TEE. We provision the enclave in your chosen Azure region. No servers ship, no hardware to rack, no server room required. Attorneys access it through a browser.
Yes. Rendex provisions the confidential compute enclave, configures SSO and matter-level permissions, runs a smoke test, and brings the system online. Standard onboarding is included in the annual license. Custom integrations are scoped separately.
Yes. Both tiers are designed for teams of 10 or more attorneys and are billed annually. Most firms start at 10 attorneys and scale as their practice grows.
Your documents are stored in standard formats inside the enclave — never in a proprietary system you can't access. You can export everything at any time. If Rendex ceases operations, the enclave and its encrypted storage sit in your Azure tenancy arrangement; data recovery and export are preserved.
Capacity
A single enclave is designed for 5–15 concurrent active users and can support up to ~20 with tuning. Because only a fraction of attorneys query at the same time, Private Cloud Standard (shared H100) covers most small to mid-size firms. Private Cloud Dedicated (single-tenant H100) supports higher-volume firms up to around 40 attorneys.
During spikes — when many people ask questions at once — Rendex briefly queues requests so the system stays stable. Answers may take a bit longer to appear, but the system remains responsive and fast enough for normal legal workflows. Private Cloud Dedicated includes priority inference with no queue.
We recommend Private Cloud Dedicated when you have 50+ attorneys using Rendex regularly, when you need the full 120B model, or when you expect high concurrent usage and want priority inference with no queue.
Yes, but for the best experience we recommend scheduling large bulk ingestion for evenings or weekends, or throttling big uploads during peak hours, so interactive queries stay responsive.
Architecture & Deployment
Maintaining confidentiality over client documents is a core obligation under attorney-client privilege. Rendex runs inside a dedicated Azure confidential VM sealed by AMD SEV-SNP memory encryption and an NVIDIA H100 TEE. Not even the cloud operator can read plaintext inside the enclave. No documents are sent to shared AI APIs or third-party processors.
A cloud AI API routes your prompts and documents to a shared inference service where the provider — and potentially subprocessors — can see plaintext. Rendex runs inside a single-firm enclave with hardware-attested isolation. Memory and model weights are encrypted at the hardware level. The cloud operator, Rendex, and any external party are cryptographically excluded from plaintext data.
You choose. We support any Azure region with confidential compute and H100 availability. This lets firms meet GDPR, PIPEDA, and other data-sovereignty requirements by keeping data in-region.
No outbound egress is required after setup. Document processing, inference, and retrieval happen inside the sealed enclave. No third-party API calls for core document workflows, no telemetry, no training on your data. Verifiable via Azure NSG flow logs and the Enclave Attestation Kit.
Rendex runs inside the sealed enclave with no standing vendor access. Software updates are delivered through signed container images and attested on-boot. Remote access is only enabled at your firm's discretion for specific support events.
Product
Based on internal modeling, a 25-attorney firm may recover an estimated $200,000–$370,000 per year in paralegal, associate, and partner time. Starting at $299/user/month with a 10-seat minimum, many firms can expect to see meaningful returns within the first year. Actual results depend on practice mix, adoption, and workflow integration.
Rendex is model-agnostic. Private Cloud Standard runs gpt-oss-20B; Private Cloud Dedicated runs gpt-oss-120B. We deploy customer-approved, commercially permitted models and upgrade as better options become available. Unlike shared cloud AI APIs where the provider controls the model and sees the prompts, every model runs inside your enclave and can be upgraded on your schedule.
Without it, a search could surface results from another client's matter — a privilege violation. Rendex enforces document isolation at the system level. Ethical walls are not optional.
Yes. No outbound egress is required after setup. Your IT team can verify via Azure NSG flow logs and the Enclave Attestation Kit, which includes the AMD SEV-SNP attestation quote and the NVIDIA H100 attestation report for your enclave.
Enclave workloads are recreated on attested hardware with your encrypted storage reattached. Recovery is transparent to attorneys — the enclave restores, re-attests, and resumes. No manual migration required.
